Symbol           Suggested Meaning
_________________________________________________________________

automobile     Driving an auto typifies your own ambition and desire
to get ahead.  If someone else is driving and has an
accident, it means that though you are not willing to
take responsibility yourself, you mistrust the ability of
others to manage things properly.  If you get into an
accident while driving, you are warning yourself to
"go slow" about something; the rest of the dream
                       will show what..

beach             The beach is generally a symbol of relaxation.  To
see a beach in a dream denotes the dreamer's wish

of intellect in the darkness of ignorance) or hope in the

                       candle burning low..

dawn              Dawn signifies hope, illumination, rebirth and awareness..

exam              The examination dream may represent anxiety over
some test of the dreamer's self worth in waking life or a
self reassurance if the test dreamed about has already
been successfully passed.  At times, if the dream test is
not passed, this can be a warning from the unconscious
that the dreamer is ill-prepared for the challenges and
test of waking life.  Examination dreams occur often
when the dreamer is about to make some important
waking life decision.  If the dream exam is a medical
checkup, the dreamer may have waking life health
                       concerns..

five                 The number five represents the human body with its five
appendages, the five senses and the hand..

from the past which haunt the dreamer.  It may represent
attitudes or patterns of behavior which were once alive,
but now are dead.   To see another person's spirit
represents the dreamer's feelings about the influence
of that person on the dreamer's life..

hand               A frequent dream symbol, hands represent creativity,
our hold on people, the extension of our ability to
interact with others.  Dirty hands represent disapproval
or resentment of a project or owner of the dirty hands..

feelings of isolation and loneliness.  At times, it can
represent the desire to escape the hassle of everyday life..

jungle             A dream set in a jungle may be a warning against
uncivilized behavior, an expression of natural impulses
or an acknowledgment of the uncertainty of the dream
traveler in journeying through this bewildering
                       environment..

knot                If the knot is an annoyance, it can denote a waking life
tangle.  If the knot is carefully crafted to hold something
together it can represent attachments in waking life..
Finally, the symbol may be a play on words and "knot"
can really be a representation of "not"..

legs                Legs represent the spiritual, emotional, physical or
psychological support system of the dreamer..

medicine        To dream of taking medication can be interpreted as a
need for the dreamer to undergo an unpleasant experience
in order to be healed.  This interpretation may be the
result of childhood experiences with bitter tasting pills
or syrups.  Medicine can also represent healing influences.

the dreamer's life.  To be in an orchestra represents
self expression and the desire to harmonize with others.
If the dreamer is playing out of tune, this may exemplify
a wish to harmonize better with people in his/her life.
Dreams which feature sound rather than sights denote
a strong auditory development on the part of the
                       dreamer..

paralyzed       A common dream is one in which the dreamer is unable
to move.  This is probably due to the fact that voluntary
muscle movements are suppressed during the dreaming
process.  However, awareness of this inability in the dream
may engender feelings of anxiety.  A dream of being rooted
to the spot can reflect the paralyzing effects of indecision,
feelings of guilt or fear, lack of self-confidence and waking
                       life conflicts..

quarrel           A dream quarrel manifests an inner conflict in the dreamer..
The two participants in the quarrel represent the two sides
                       of the issue.

the cradle, or the carefree life of childhood.  This image
may represent the wish of the dreamer to return to the
idyllic existence of childhood, perhaps as an escape
from present difficulties.  The rocking of a chair or cradle
can also signify life's ups and downs..

seasons          Seasons in a dream present stages of the dreamer's life.
Spring denotes childhood, summer stands for early adult-
hood, autumn denotes maturity and winter signifies old
                       age..

temple            A temple, like a church, can exemplify the religious

                       soul, the dreamer's self..

uniform          Uniforms suggest identification with a group, a feeling of
belonging or acceptance of common goals and attitudes..

veil                 A veil embodies mystery and concealment.  If the dreamer
is veiled, this image may signify a partially recognized or
half-revealed side of the dreamer's psyche.  The veil can
represent mourning or submission to authority as evidenced
by the nun's veil and the bridal veil. The veil can also
symbolize a transition from one phase of life to another..

wasp              To dream of being stung by a wasp may be evidence of
painful emotions or being stung by the remarks of others..
