First, you'll need to make some sugar cookies and icing.
recipe (from Ma'at):
1/2 c (1 stick) butter, room temperature
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c powdered sugar 1 egg
1 t vanilla extract
2 1/4 c all purpose flour
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t cream of tartar
1/2 t salt
Additional sugar
Using electric mixer, beat butter, oil, 1/2 c sugar and 1/2
c powdered
sugar in large bowl until well blended. Mix in egg and vanilla.
Sift
flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt over and mix in.
Cover
mixture and chill until firm, about 30 minutes or up to 1 day.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter 2 heavy large baking sheets.
Roll 1 T
dough into ball. Place on prepared sheet. Repeat with remaining
dough, spacing balls evenly on sheets. Dip flat-bottomed glass
into
water to moisten, then dip into sugar and press dough to
1/4-inch-thick round. Repeat with remaining dough balls, dipping
bottom of glass into sugar before pressing each.
Bake cookies until light brown, about 15 minutes. Transfer cookies
to
racks and cool completely.

(Ma'at's note: If you feel creative, you can cut the dough into the shape of the actual runes.)
Draw ONE rune on each cookie with the icing. Get yourself comfy,
perhaps on the floor,
outdoors, in a chair,...wherever you want.
A single candle is helpful for focusing.
Take one cookie, look at the rune, (you can do as much research on the
rune
as you like, before hand, but once you've set down, stay there... having
a
cheat sheet, IMNSHO, is fine), and eat it! Visualize what this
rune means
to you becoming one with your knowledge (as it becomes one with your
tummy). When you think you've got a good handle on that rune,
repeat the
exercise until finished.
NOTE: it might be best to do this in sections... say 4-7 at a time,
depending on your day,
your mood, and how full your brain (and tummy) feels at the time.
ANOTHER NOTE: would also suggest having something to drink with you ;)
see? told you it was easy! and fun! and they're little, so not toooo fattening ;p
