We are a cyber coven, formed in 2000 from the now-defunct ShadowMoon cyber coven with a daughter coven (Southern Cross Coven, sccoven.org) birthed in 2006. Our existence is entirely virtual and our primary purpose is to teach Wicca in a non-threatening manner.
We do not believe Wicca is the 'One True Way' and so our lessons, while explaining and exploring various of Wicca and Witchcraft, nonetheless provide the student with a broad variety of information and perspectives. Based on this, the student can draw his/her own conclusions. At the very least, the student will end their year with us feeling comfortable with every aspect of basic Wicca and have a strong basis for understanding many aspects of Witchcraft. Hopefully, s/he will also be able to discern the difference between someone who knows what they are talking about and a BS artist.

Our secondary purpose is to expand the understanding and acceptance of virtual religious groups, specifically those with a pagan focus. We do this in a variety of ways, including creating a stable, healthy, online coven. As well, under her mundane name, Lisa Mc Sherry, Lady Maat has written several books about cyber magick and creating magickal groups online. The first was CyberCoven.Org: Creating and Maintaining Magickal Groups Online (now out of print and unavailable) the second was The Virtual Pagan: Exploring Wicca and Paganism Through The Internet. As an adjunct, she recently published Magickal Connections: Creating a Lasting and Healthy Spiritual Group.
